Day Zero, the Wellbeing Tool Kit for Heart Health

Day Zero

Day Zero is a wellbeing toolkit designed to encourage a healthier lifestyle and develop positive habits. Its main objective is to address and prevent heart disease. The items included are low-tech instruments as Day Zero is an analog tool kit. It hopes to let the person using it experience a brief moment away from the daily humdrum of screens.

Prototype of the Outer Box for the Gaming Consoles

Prototype #1

This console was inspired by the GameBoy developed by Nintendo and Habitica. It included affirmations and tasks in the form of cartridges. The lenticular screen is designed to resemble the actual screen of a GameBoy. It looked at the gamification of tasks by turning them into quests and rewarding the player for completing them. The player will also have the freedom to design their own tasks.

Prototype of an Instant Camera

Prototype #2

The instant camera will have a list of daily prompts that one can complete over the course of 100 days. A journal is also provided to document progress and jot down any thoughts, observations or reminders for the day. This will encourage them to venture outdoors more often, interact with new people and be more active.
